In just a few months, Krakow and Małopolska will host the European Games 2023 – the largest multidisciplinary event in Europe this year and at the same time the largest sports event in the history of our country.
The Games will start on June 21 and run until July 2. It will be a unique event, both in terms of sports and organization. Hundreds of journalists from all over Europe will cover the competition of over seven thousand athletes from 48 countries. They will be supported by almost eight thousand volunteers! Dozens, if not hundreds of thousands of fans will watch the struggle of athletes competing in almost 30 disciplines, not only for medals – qualifications for the Olympic Games in Paris in 2024 will also be at stake. A great sports celebration is coming up, and thanks to volunteering you can be a part of it!
Join the group of eight thousand volunteers from around the world. Be a part of the biggest celebration of sport, competition at the highest level in your city. Athletes from all over Europe will come to our country to compete for medals at the European Championships and Olympic qualifications for Paris 2024. Volunteers will work in sports competition zones and support the organizers in areas such as issuing accreditations, media support and logistics. They will support players, judges and national teams. As many as 21 different volunteering departments provide a variety of tasks, which means that everyone will find a role for themselves.

What do you have to do to become a volunteer?
Recruitment for volunteering consists of two stages. The first is registration and setting up an account on the Volunteer Portal and filling in the recruitment form. All necessary information and a link to the form can be found on the website: ie2023.pl/wolontariat. The second stage is an online recruitment interview.
After qualifying the volunteers, training, briefing of volunteers, collection of personal accreditations and necessary equipment await.
