Coaches Lubomir Witoszek and Artur Ślusarczyk direct the team to the World Cup of University Hockey 2023, i.e. the academic world championships. 23 students and one reserve player were recognized in it.

Yesterday, the training camp in Oświęcim ended, after which the selectors selected the players. In this group, apart from the players of UKH Unii Oświęcim, there are also youth representatives of Poland, headed by Jakub Ślusarczyk and Michał Kusak.

“It was an intense time for us. We had the opportunity to do six training units and work on many elements. We still have two training sessions ahead of us: one in Janów and the other on site in Romania – explained Lubomir Witoszek, coach of the national team and UHT Sabers Oświęcim.

– Of course, we are newcomers in this group and this tournament is a kind of novelty for us. We are going there with a positive attitude and we want to show our best side, he added.

Let us remind you that the competition will start on April 14 and will last until April 19. All matches of the 2023 University Hockey World Cup will be played at the Felcsíki ice rink in Cârța.
